Tree - Prunus Kiku Shidare Sakura - Cherry Cheals Weeping

Prunus ‘Kiku-shidare-zakura,’ commonly known as the Weeping Chrysanthemum Cherry, is one of the finest varieties of Japanese weeping flowering cherries. This small, deciduous tree features branches that elegantly arch downward from the trunk. In late April, as the young leaves emerge in a bronze hue, the tree showcases masses of large, double flowers that are a rich pink, softer than that of ‘Kanzan,’ and can reach up to 3.5 cm in diameter. The leaves change colors throughout the seasons, turning red, then light green in summer, and finally bronze-orange in autumn. This tree is ideal for adding year-round interest to smaller gardens.
