Reasons to order SYBASoil Bonsai mix:
- This peat-free soil is beneficial for both your plants and the environment.
- It promotes improved root development.
- Contains organic nutrients and flourishing microbial life.
- Provides the ideal soil for your plant's needs.
How to use the Bonsai Soil Mix:
Using the mix is easy! Start by removing as much of the old soil as possible. Gently tilt the pot sideways to loosen the plant and rinse the roots under lukewarm tap water to remove any remaining soil particles.
Also, make sure to trim any dead foliage using scissors. Now, your plant is ready for its fresh Bonsai soil. Begin by adding a small layer of Bonsai mix at the bottom of the pot. Place the plant in the pot and gradually add Bonsai soil to the sides to fill it up. Make sure that the point where the roots meet the plant is just buried under the Bonsai soil.
Gently press the Bonsai mix down into the pot. Remember to thoroughly water the Bonsai mix after repotting to help settle the mix and roots.
Why the Bonsai mix works:
Bonsai plants are delicate and require top-quality care to thrive. The Bonsai mix should not harden when dry and should provide good aeration and drainage, achieved through the addition of pumice and perlite. The lava rock helps with root structure and prevents the bonsai from becoming top-heavy.
Ingredients of SYBASoil Bonsai mix:

How to care for Bonsai plants:
Bonsai trees are more delicate than your average houseplant. Note that care will vary based on the specific tree species.
Fertilizing regularly during the growing season is essential, as the root system and soil volume are small, causing nutrients to be quickly depleted. The Bonsai mix includes worm castings, which release nutrients slowly into the soil.
For the perfect watering schedule, conduct research on the specific tree type you have. As for light requirements, bright indirect light is best for most bonsai trees, but again, research your specific tree for specific care needs.
